A visual journey through texture, geometry, and emotion.

01
Peace by Piece
My first large scale geometric abstract at 48 x 60 inches. This composition took 120 hours to complete between Sept-Oct 2025 utilizing many, many rolls of painters tape to create crisp lines between colors and shapes. I found peace at a cellular level while working on this piece.

02
Why do shapes give me emotions?
Painted in Jan - Feb 2026 at 24 x 36 inches, I continued exploring geometric abstract segmenting hexagons into repeating shapes. The horizontal rows are slightly angled to influence eye movement throughout the composition.

03
The Container
Painted in Nov-Dec 2025 the title is in reference to the Container used in EMDR therapy which has helped me tremendously! The black and white geometric pattern was layered over a poured paint background. The cubes are intended to represent an infinite capacity to store and access pleasant and distressing memories. Distressing memories are mentally placed into the container where they are sealed tightly until it is safe (usually during therapy) to open the container and process one memory at a time.

Mmmm
Meet the Mummy.
A little unraveled. A little mesmerizing. Impossible to look away from.
This original monster portrait is the first in the Monsters in the Artery collection, where old monsters get a new kind of life. Prints, shirts, and mugs are in the shop.
The expressions are dramatic and spooky in ways that contrast with the sweet simplicity of eating candy.
Can you hear him saying "Mmmm"?

05
Sucker
Meet Dracula. Dramatic, a little brooding, with no interest in blending in. This original portrait titled "Sucker" is the second piece in the Monsters in the Artery collection, where classic creatures get a strange little life of their own. Prints, shirts, and mugs are waiting in the shop.
His expressions is dramatic and spooky in ways that contrast with the sweet simplicity of eating a Tootsie Pop.
The eyes and really gross thumbnail are my favorite parts of this composition.

06
Savor Life
Meet the Bride. A little haunted. A little luminous. Still becoming. Titled “Savor Life” this original portrait is the third piece added to the Monsters in the Artery collection, where classic creatures get a strange little life of their own. Prints, shirts, and mugs are in the shop.
She went through 17 faces before she was ready to be seen. I love her neck and the folds and shadows of her dress.

07
Duck-n-stein
Meet Frankenstein's monster. A little stitched together, a little misunderstood, and still figuring out what it means to come alive. Titled “Duck-n-stein” this original portrait is the fourth entry in the Monsters in the Artery collection, where classic creatures get a strange little life of their own. Prints, shirts, and mugs are in the shop.

Come on Down
A tribute to Rod Roddy of The Price is Right fame. This piece was done as a birthday gift for my husband in May 2026. It hangs above our basement stairs inviting you to..."Come on Down"

Let's Be Frank
Painted during a snow storm in January 2026, I just wanted to paint a composition with a hotdog for my kitchen. While one man is serious and focused (probably on something boring and work related) the other just wants a hotdog...
